Chicago, Illinois is home of the windy city and skyscrapers! They represent their city with light blue and cherry red. The four stars represent Fort Dearborn, the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893, and the Century of Progress Exposition of 1933–34, four great historical events in Chicago. A famous monument in Chicago is known as “the bean” or the official name “Cloud Gate”, is a huge mirrored bean shaped sculpture that can represent their love for the arts in Chicago. I used all of these things to influence my design for Chicago’s logo!
